How does the Fair Tax, being a sales tax, make it over these two hurdles?
While the details have already been addressed, this is also a reason why they reimburse those collecting the tax.

I read some of the Twitters my wife gets.....WOW talk about a waste of a text message ;)
But then again those she follows really don't have anything meaningful to say ;)
The message must get to the people.
The people must then take the message to their elected representatives.
This job summit will more than likely get a lot of media coverage....we need to make sure that locally as well as nationally guests who comm…
Hannity has supported the FairTax and has attended at least one Rally (check youtube for video of said event).
Beck has said he supports it, but has trouble separating the FairTax from a flat tax.
O'Reilly has spoken about it if I recall but is one…

Apologies again for missing the call, I have no excuse other than I had a customer in about a computer (I do computer repairs on the side) and she was most irrate about her trouble.
Will there be a call in December or is the next one in January?!?!…
The government shall be giving me an extra refund in 2010......more than enough to storm the hill!!
And that's what we'll be doing.....'STORMING THE HILL!!!'

- Hey Tony just wanted to share with you what I added to the FairTax Storming the Hill "sound off" head count discussion:
If EVERY SINGLE ONE of us doesn't commit to giving FairTax a voice on APRIL 15, 2010 we don't deserve to live in a country under the FairTax! On April 15 we'd like to have a goal of 10,000 FairTax Supporters ready, willing and storming in DC, while the rest of you do ONE or BOTH of the following:
Contact your local FairTax Community coordinator, District Director, State Director and commit to:
1) meet at ANY (ALL) of your REPRESENTATIVES offices w/a minimum of 5 other FairTax Supporters. The goal...to have a minimum of 5 FairTax Supporters at EVERY House Rep. Office and Senators office in EVERY STATE!!
On April 15, 2010 "time to be decided".
AND / OR
2) pick up the phone & call ALL 3 of those representing you in DC & say,
"Hello, I am calling to strongly encourage (Representative/Senator) so & so to cosponsor & be proactive for the FairTax Legislation. (HR25 / S296)
So FairTax Supporters....with all the bases covered we may even get some AIR time...but it will NOT happen if we don't work together and bring our friends and family with us!!!
Gooooo FairTax!!! YES WE CAN!!!

My dad was a preacher when I was young and then we attended a lot of different churches because we moved around so much. I think with a lot of church members, they believe that God has a plan and he sets up kings and takes them down etc. So some believe that his will will be done no matter what and therefore they don't look at it as a duty to vote because "it is in God's hands". I don't believe most of them think that, but enough of them do that they sit out the voting process and put their faith in the Good Lord and don't realize that they need to Get Off Their Pew and VOTE! My goal is to change that attitude and realize they need to help get their country back and take a proactive stance is keeping the right to practice their religion of their choice. "They will not remember the words of their enemies, but the silence of their friends" ; Martin Luther King Jr.
