It's time that we got back to a citizen government, not this pseudo-royalty, oligarchy that we have going now. Pulling from the same powerful families doesn't really provide fertile ground for new ideas or pragmatic thinking.

I wish folks would cool it with the partisan stuff on the FTN twitter. I am getting some complaints from people who support FairTax but do not vote with Republicans.
Remember, we are supposed to be trying to get everyone on board with FairTax.

If you have FairTax in your Twitter account name, keep the focus on FairTax issues, not other issues like healthcare reform, Sotomayor hearings, etc.
You can always create another Twitter account with another email address (e.g., create a…
How many followers does FT have on twitter?
I'm not a 'twit' myself (bad pun I know) but think its a great way to get people onboard with learning about it without actually doing anything other than reading the notes.
I have a couple of ideas to reach more people regarding the FairTax:
1. Reusable shopping bags (e.g. http://www.reusethisbag.com/custom.asp#reusablegrocerybags)
When I ran a booth at a festival, I saw that an insurance company was passing out the reusable shopping bags for people to use to collect info. The bag had their logo on it. I have similar bags from Meijer and Lowes (instead of using plastic bags).… Continue

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.
On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.
