My nomination for a new "ism" or "ist" if we really must have one, is traditionalist. The only problem is that the tune from Fiddler on the Roof keeps popping into my head. What we need in this country is a GET REAL Party, made up of practical (prag…
Here's another one which also found ink in my local papers. I think the kernel came from Jim Bennett. At 500 words, it's too long for a LTE, but several papers printed it as a guest editorial.
Upon telling folks about the FairTax bill, they frequen…
Got this one in the Rochester Post Bulletin (Minnesota) yesterday:
I came across some interesting stats the other day which compared GDP among the U S states and the member countries of the EU. Few EU countries rank in the top 40. Luxemburg comes…
This group is a place for us to come, POST & COPY letters to "The Editor" or "Those in DC". "legal plagerism!" When you post a letter of any kind here you are giving permission for others to copy, paste, send it in & sign their name to it. Thanks
Every time we send a blast e-mail we get maybe 10% bounces. I'm guessing most of these come from spam filtering, but whatever the reason, our e-mail list is being rapidly degraded. I'm liking the idea of sending a newsletter rather than merely culli…

Well, it's been very last minute for us... we have a lot going on in our personal lives, but feel this is important. The week before the rally, we had already had plans to be in western TN for a hog rally there, working with Phil Hoffman who is creating a FT event on the end of the HOG rally. It's about half way to MO. We're hoping the raffle bike will be done to trailer it to these events, as it is a major fundraiser for the consortium. Because we are traveling long distance, we don't know how many will be joining us, but have found even a small group of bikes with FairTax flags gain attention. We have a stop in Springfield MO where Jack Edge is working with a FairTax supporting bike shop to combine their bike nite with a pre-rally on Thurs. the 11th. In Columbia, we will have a booth at the event, and perhaps a breakout session about our program - our goals are education & events, working with dist'ing supplies at cost where needed. We have more info at our website, www.grassrootsfreedomride.com but truthfully, this thing has grown faster than i can keep up! We won't be having a specific ride or event the day of the rally. We had a poker run in SC prior to their 3 hour rally, but that takes local time and manpower to organize. Hopefully we'll grow chapters along our route to take the FairTax message to bikers who are inherently freedom lovers - that starts with economic freedom.
Welcome to FairTax Nation! Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us also.
