I am going keep this simple, as that is probably the only way some might get the point! To James Hodges. We put up with medicare because we are all litttle pigs with our snout in the trough! And furthermore medicare is not a an individual tax mandat…

Do you comprehend what you read? Or, do you just respond without thinking? What does medicare which is strictly federal government have to do with this post? The subject is challenging federal mandates on the states. "Think" then respond. On the sub…

So why do we put up with medicare?

Would it not follow then that the "fines" or "penalties" being planned for the IRS to levy are also unconstitutional? The argument that “most states have mandated auto insurance” is much easier defeated by pointing out that it is the states which a…

The part that bothers me is the fact that the healthcare bill further entrenches and empowers the "IRS." The fact is that we should be ridding ourselves of this albatross from the past. Audit the fed and the resulting public outrage may just do the…

Sounds intelligent to me, we not only allow the IRS to further entrench themselves, but at the same time extract even more of our labors. For the good of the country we need to end the IRS, not empower them to do even more harm.

As the wise man once said "there is no possible victory in defense." However, defense is exactly what we have been playing, and if we intend to continue to follow that agenda we may as well prepare ourselves to be defeated. The above post pretty wel…

FAIRTAX TOWN HALL FORMAT

FAIRTAX TOWN HALL MEETING
The meeting will come to order!

The purpose of this meeting is to propose a new tax system. It has become apparent to most of us that our political leaders have become far to corrupt and bought off by special interests to remedy the impending collapse of our economy and many of us believe that the root of the corruption is our current system of taxation and the corrupting influence it has on our Political Leaders. Under the current system of taxing labor and therefore… Continue

Compulsory Health Insurance is Blatantly Unconstitutional
The Federal Government has no such power of taxation’

The United States Constitution Article 1 Section 8, states; "The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes, Duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States" The Constitution clearly did not allow a tax to be laid

Tort Reform:

Civil attorneys have destroyed entire industries in America. The small aircraft industry does not exist in America today because of civil suits. The country that was the first to venture into the sky and pioneered the aircraft industry was sued out of existence by trial lawyers. In the early 1980’s the last remaining small aircraft manufacturer closed its doors and left America. Anyone who has ventured into the business world in America soon realizes that they… Continue

IRS TO OVERSEE OBAMA-CARE

OBAMA-CARE AKA HR3200 is closer to becoming a reality than most Americans realize. They are going to use the Camel’s nose under the tent approach! This is a method in politics that has been used since the beginning of the Progressive Era that started with Teddy Roosevelt (Republican) and Woodrow Wilson (Democrat) at the turn of the twentieth century.

The scheme goes like this; they say that they are abandoning the public option and then proceed with a provision that says that if the private sec… Continue

BOYCOTT GENERAL ELECTRIC

I wrote an earlier article challenging the American people to employ economic sanctions against the federal government, for the purpose of sending a message to Washington that the American people are not going to stand by and do nothing while their country is bankrupted and destroyed by the Congress and this administration. I received quite a few replies from people who were concerned that we may also hurt our local economies and our neighbors in the process. No major battle can be fought withou… Continue

Hi Curtis!

Welcome to FairTax Nation!

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.

Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.

Thank you!
Marilyn Rickert
