Over the past couple of months, we have been able to have the FairTax in our local paper almost every weekend as a guest column with articles written by our state director Steve Curtis. This is a great way to get information out about the FairTax. And it should wake us up to how we should be more involved in the written word. Steve's columns have not only been informative, but well worth reading. Lets help Steve out by writing letters all across the state to many different newspapers and informing Ohions about the FairTax, its benefits,and what we need to do to pass this desperately needed reform.

We had a terrific meeting tonight. We had new visitors, leaders from the Beavercreek Liberty group, Our state director was there, great talk, and passed out material. We also announced that ( I ) senate candidate Eric Deaton will be at our next Fairborn FairTax meeting. He will be giving a talk about himself and what he stands for after which we will have a Q & A session. So please bring a pad and pen to write down questions you may have. And I'd like to thank the folks at Roush's for allowing us to use their restaurant to hold these meetings. They have been FANTASTIC!!!!!

Lastly, and to all, Have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!!!

This sounds like a great idea, and can be implemented with little cost or effort. If anyone has friends that run a business, or have a good relationship with some of your business suppliers, why not give it a try.

A single sentence at the end of a commercial, run over and over, could raise awareness to new levels.

===================

One of our business supporters had a great idea and e-mailed it to Neal Boortz but I think the rest of us could spread the word also.
"Neal, I am one of the Fairtax organizers in Eau Claire , WI . I have a promotional idea that costs $0 which will only work with your help. If you could suggest to Fairtax-supporting local business owners around the country to include the Fairtax logo or sound bite in their ads, our exposure would grow exponentially. In many of my radio ads, I include a 2 second sound byte at the end that says "We support the Fairtax." A small logo in newspaper ads, internet etc would also work. It costs zero additional dollars for advertisers to include it, and could supplant millions of advertising dollars used for fundamental exposure. Getting the general population to first just hear of the Fairtax has helped tremendously, at least here. We proudly do most organization from ground up and hate to bug you, but I think the Fairtax would be enormously re-energized if this were to take hold!

We are working on our FairTax Newsletter, and would like to include some humor. I am looking for people with some cartooning experience who would like to contribute. If you'd like to develop FairTax-themed cartoons, and have them published in our Newsletter, let me know either on here, or directly at s.curtis@ohfairtax.org

I am a member of GOOOH Ohio and I run a meetup in the second district, is there anyone here that could give a Fair Tax presentation to our GOOOH group. Fair Tax has a strong support in the GOOOH process, but we could use more information.

Tom Ganley is running for US Senate. He spoke at our Breakfast meeting on Nov. 28th. His PR man said Tom is very supportive of the Fair Tax.
