I want to go a different direction with this discussion. I want to set up a website specifically to support FairTax Candidates. I want to have a clickable map that lists candidates running on the FairTax all across the country. We will be using the domain name fairtaxadvocate.net. I need some expeirenced web designers to help with this project. It is our intention to turn this into a PAC to help raise money for these candidates. There will be a form for people to nominate candidates in each district, and then all candidates will be listed regardless of party. Then, there will be a voting process where members will be able to vote for the candidate they think best represents the FairTax. There will be some money put into this project by me, and we will do fundraising as well. If you think you can help, please send me a msg.
I don't believe that he does. He made a statement at the Freedom Rally in West Chester that he thought that even if it passed there would probably end up being both the FairTax as well as an Income Tax.

RJ Harris is running against Tom Cole who has not co-sponsored the FairTax in District 4 of Oklahoma.
RJ is pro-FairTax and a constitionalist www.RJ Harris2010.com
Mary Fallin is my congresswomen, is a co-sponsor and running for governor so we'll need to make sure she is replaced with a pro (and more active) FairTax supporter.
So far the front runner is :) ...I'll talk with him tomorrow night www.KevinCalvey.com
Anyone know anything about David Harmer? He is the Republican candidate running in a special election for a seat vacated by Ellen Tauscher in California's tenth congressional district. His website www.harmerforcongress.com doesn't discuss tax reform on the Issues page. I sent him an email with a brief overview of the Fair Tax, asking his position on the Fair Tax and inviting him to join FairTaxNation. You may want to also send him an email to make him aware of The Fair Tax.
Joshua,
Just returned from a Fox Valley Initiative forum with the three announced Republican candidates for the 8th Congressional seat in Wisc. Andy Williams is 100% in favor of the FairTax and will co-sponsor when he is elected in Nov. 2010. The other two candidates knew little about HR25.
Tonight I clicked the link for the billybarepockets website and a page pops up that says it is under construction. Is billybarepockets still in operation?
In order to see the trees for the forrest, why don't we have a separate group here in FairTaxNation listing FairTax candidates, State, district, and web sites only without any dialog.
We welcome every political stripe to FTN. There are Republicans, Democrats, independants, Libertarians and so on...
We do, however, not want people trashing each other on this site. We all are FairTax supporters working to promote HR25 even thought we may not agree on anything else.
This site does not encourage anyone to run or not to run. We may do that as individuals, that is fine.
BTW, from what I understand Mr. Rubio has back tracked some and is now supporting the flat tax as much as he is supporting the FairTax. Do you have more evidence to the contrary?
We need a Dem candidate to get in that race who supports FairTax. That would be great!
FTN may make a list of candidates that support FairTax but all who do are allowed on the list.
